We are pleased to provide a wide range of surgical services for our patients.
A pre-operative exam gives the opportunity to address any health issues, concerns, and questions. Routine procedures such as spaying and neutering are given the same monitoring as more complex surgeries. Doctors are assisted by highly skilled technicians focusing on patient safety, pain management, and post-operative care.
An intravenous catheter is placed in the foreleg ensuring safe access to the vein for fluid therapy and medicating. A breathing tube allows control of oxygen and safe general anesthesia. Our staff uses special monitoring equipment (EKG, pulse oximetry) to monitor the patient's vital signs.
Care is taken to keep the patient warm during and after all procedures.
An overnight stay allows your pet to receive injectable pain medication enabling a quiet night's sleep. When he/she is ready to go home a technician will review post-operative care and medication instructions with you.
